Hinamatsuri

After watching the criminally short Hinamatsuri anime I had to continue so I bought the first volume which I very quickly found out was a great choice, as Hinamatsuri in manga form is even more funny than the anime is. the gut busting punchlines are relentless, fully belly laugh worthy jokes loud enough to annoy your neighbors every chapter. Admittedly after the timeskip, the manga does slow down a little though. Not that it isn't funny anymore, it certainly is, but it does feel a little like the comedy is taking a backseat to story which I think was a mistake especially when the new additions to the cast aren't as strong as the original. Story was never the strong suit of Hinamatsuri and whatever weird rock and roll time-travel thing they were trying didn't really work for me. Despite how bad I'm making the post-timeskip section of this manga sound, I still enjoyed it, Hitomi-centric chapters especially are always a highlight. I love watching the author torture the straight man character who would usually be my least favorite part and watching Hitomi mentally break is always hilarious (sorry if I sound insane for saying that you'll have to read it for yourself). I highly recommend Hinamatsuri, it's the funniest comic I've ever read and if your sense of humor is anything similar to mine you'll have a great time with it.

One of my favorite one panel punchlines:
